Notre Dame Connection
Henry is one of the top tight ends in the 2019 class. He’s a Arkansas legacy and also is teammates with current Notre Dame OL target Luke Jones. He’s also the brother of former Alabama and current LA Chargers TE Hunter Henry. At the moment he holds 9 offers but expect the number to increase significantly if he stays on the market. With the new offer, Notre Dame has now offered 7 different tight ends in the upcoming recruiting class, clearly a big want by the coaching staff.
How He Fits
Well all you have to do is look at what position he plays and you know why he’s a fit at Notre Dame. With the pride of the Irish calling themselves “Tight End U”, Henry could only add to that. He’s got trememdous size and strength and would fit perfectly with the style of offense OC Chip Long runs. With recent news of freshman Brock Wright needing shoulder surgery and the up and downs on Alize Mack on and off the field, you never want to be short at that position especially with Chip Longs offense.
I’m excited to announce that I have been offered by the University of Notre Dame! pic.twitter.com/ggYxRODRP9
