Notre Dame Connection
Notre Dame likes what they see from Brown. He’s been committed to UCLA since April 2017 and hasn’t wavered yet. A ton of top programs are still after him and Notre Dame wanted to be one of them and it’s why they decided to finally offer. With the staff changes at UCLA we’ll have to wait and see if he builds a strong relationship with the new staff or if he tries to explore other options. It’ll be a tough pull from Chip Kelly though; relationships will be key.
How He Fits
Well, he’s a big time playmaker. And everyone wants a playmaker on their team. I don’t think you’ll find a better 2019 route runner as he gets open with ease. He has consistent hands and can line up anywhere on the field. With the tempo offense Chip Long brings, receivers love that they will get a ton of action thrown their way. Year 2 under Long’s offense will be very intriguing to receiver recruits. The Irish staff always wants more athleticism and that’s exactly what you’ll be getting in Brown.
